The wineries of Castilla-La Mancha have had the opportunity to strengthen commercial relations with wine industry professionals in China thanks to the series of activities carried out by the Institute for the Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX)The event was organized by Chinexita, as representative office, last week in China.
The coastal cities of Guangzhou and Ningbo hosted the product presentations in a roadshow in which 11 wineries from the region participated with a wide range of high quality products that importers, distributors and professionals from the foodservice channel enjoyed tasting.
In Shanghai, the Prowine Prowinein which wineries from Castilla-La Mancha also participated, in a special edition that marks the tenth anniversary of the fair and the first to be held without sanitary restrictions.
In order to broaden the impact of the wineries’ participation in the fair and strengthen the image of Castilla-La Mancha wines in China, on the first day of Prowine, Chinexita organized a wine pairing tasting, followed by a dinner for VIP importers and winery representatives. Both parties were thus able to establish contact and explore opportunities for collaboration.
From Chinexita we continue working to increase the recognition of Castilla-La Mancha and its products, and to generate new business opportunities.
